Perfume bottles

Today I had too much time on my hands and this is the result, dressed up bottles.
I like these bottles because they have a waist so whatever you tie around it, will stay in place.

The big bottle is a sample I made for a local wedding, the order was for 12 bottles.
At weddings here it is custom to offer oil based perfumes to the guests and the bottle gets passed from table to table to the ladies, it is a ladies only event.

Men will have their dinner in another place, however later in the evening the groom and father will come to the ladies only event to sit with the bride.
I have been to many local weddings and the one is more splendid than the next.

The lace underneath and the silk top material is quite bulky, next time I will use thinner material so the waist will show better.

I think you have seen enough of these bottles for now...
Here is a peek into my wardrobe.

On Monday I will wear the pink one and the blue one I shall wear on Saturday when I visit Mr. Darcy.

 New lace I found together with that lovely cotton material, made into a lavender sachet.

Don't you just love my clock? and it still works.
