I love it when my daughters ask me
'What would you like for Christmas?'
I knew exactly what and where to get it from...
This beautiful carpet was on my mind for a long time
and Global Village was the place!
The carpet is handmade, cross stitched with wool.
I am so happy with it.
Thank you girls!
Today I finished making these
chair pad covers for my dining chairs.
I seldom make things for me to keep,
these are staying!
My new carpet is for my living room
but the lighting there is bad, so I
drag all my items to the bedroom where the
light is perfect for pictures.
I love my new romantic chair pads..
Happy Holidays!
xoxo

That's a beautiful carpet, it must have taken quite a while to create. Love your frilly seat pads :-)

Would have to agree with everyone else – the carpet’s amazing! Can’t believe it’s cross-stitched! :D It’s a great addition to your house. Don’t forget to immediately wash it if it gets spilled on so the stain won’t stick. It’ll be harder to remove it if that happens.

I agree with Lyda! Can’t also believe that the carpet’s hand-stitched. :D It just looks so great! Good tips on carpet cleaning too. :D
