Union Jack pillow

Thank you Rachel for the inspiration.

If it wasn't for her light cottons and sweet floral prints
I would still be making dark velvet and Victorian decorations.

I found the inspiration to make these cushions here
I love how she uses French linen with those pretty initials.
I wouldn't dream of cutting up my precious linen.

Today I am joining in with Show and Tell Friday

I hope you come and visit these lovely parties.

Couch Candy # 2

This time I made an oval and a round cushion.

I love the cushions on the couch of
Rachel Ashwell's book cover.
One day I will have to try and make them,
just to get it out of my system...

This chair cover belongs to the previous set
and will go on a cream painted chair.
I've put it on my chair just for the pictures.

Cute Baby Blanket

This is the cutest baby blanket I have ever made.
Sprinkles of little blue flowers..

It fits perfectly in this Moses basket and has a little pillow to match.

The Moses basket is neutral so it can be used for the next baby,
just change the bow to pink for a girl.

Layers of cream and beige.

Today I finished these pillows and a small mattress
to go on a little bench.

The request was for a colour between pink and peach,
this is what I could find.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
Hugs.

I'll be joining the party with Show and Tell Friday

I hope you can come and visit.

Decorated Boxes

Pink cream cake, without the calories..
Four carton boxes stacked on top of each other
decorated with delicious lace and flowers.

I made these boxes before and you can find them
on the right side of my blog.

I finished four more Maries.

I love her face and hair.

Here it shows how tiny the ladies are.

Sometimes it's hard to find the right material.
The red and green cotton on the Moses basket I found
in the bedding section, and is a cut up pillowcase.
Perfect match for my green material.

Now I got the dolls out of my system!
Thank you ladies for all your sweet comments.

I hope you have a lovely and
creative week.
Hugs.

Marie Antoinette dolls

At last I got this out of my system...
I had all the ingredients ready for a while,
so today I put it all together and they turned out so cute.

With this doll I didn't leave enough material
around her head so she has a slim face.

I ordered these cup cake decoration on-line and
printed the ladies on cotton, cut them out and
stitched them on a plain cotton for the back,
turned them and stuffed them with wading.
Stitch them closed from the bottom and then have fun decorating...
