Last week I decided to go on a break
from sewing and picked up a paint brush..
I have many vintage chairs and tables
lying around.
I once went on a shopping spree at auction
and had a 20 foot container sent
over to Dubai.
We are using a lot of the pieces at home, some were sold
and the rest were stacked away.
Watching tutorials of Miss Mustard Seed
and many other ladies made me brave enough
to pick up a paint brush and start painting,
waxing, distressing and staining...
No stripping... no sanding...
How nice is chalk paint!
I love the green paint, I will have to sew some
pink cushions to make this chair comfy.
I also gave 'antique white' a go,
so my telephone stand had to endure
the assault..
This pretty chair will be my next victim!
I still have some pink paint...
I found myself singing while painting,
I think my sewing break will be long!
I hope you are having a wonderful week.
Today I will join in with
and Be Inspired
xoxo
