Rain, rain and more Rain
These long gloves are made of soft leather,
I found them in a little antique shop in Holland
where I am at the moment visiting my parents.
They are too small for my hands,
what a pity, now I don't have anything to go with my tiara...
Here are a few pictures at the seaside,
it has been raining for the last few days,
but I am not complaining yet....
I hope you have a lovely week.
Hugs.

Three Tier Decorated Boxes Tutorial
I'm sure I've shared these before
but I just love making them and they look so cute.
For my standards, I didn't put too much lace on them...
I found the perfect boxes at Ikea, they come covered
with a nice material, so if the material shows through
it still looks nice.
The boxes are a bit pricey but very sturdy and
the lining is pretty too.
I used a hot glue gun to stick all the lace and flowers.
I thought to use a bit of fur but the owner didn't agree..
Not to forget the crown..
These boxes come in black too, how about those
with red Valentine's hearts and black lace, mmm
just an idea...
I hope you have a lovely week.
Hugs.

Baby Blue Bed Cover
At last, I finished the bed cover, with all that lace
it took for ever...
One more big pillow to make before
it can go to Mum to be who will use it to receive
well wishers when she has her new baby.
I used cotton material for the base
with a blue silk and lace panel.
Layers and layers of lace.
A baby pouch to match the set.
All we need now is a little baby boy.
I just thought to show of my Wedgwood, the colours are
a perfect match.
I hope you have a lovely week,
Hugs.

Lace Covered Baby Pram
This week I've been busy re-covering this cute pram,
all with delicious French lace and silk, in cream and ivory colours.
The lining of the bedding is pure cotton;
only the outside is covered with lace and silk.
I also made a Moses basket cover for a little boy,
this is part of a complete set, mum's bed cover
and baby pouch.
For this bed I used all cotton, except the
top of the blanket which has a blue silk panel.
The iron stand is made especially for this
model basket, I designed it so the sides are
high enough to ensure the basket is safe and sturdy.
I fixed extra bands along the handles and bottom of the basket
so it is safer to keep the baby in the basket as you transport your bundle of joy.
How are your New Years resolutions going?
Mine lasted for two whole days...
I hope you have a lovely week.
