Two Sweet Frilly Cushions

These days I feel like the energizer bunny...
On top of my friend's shop opening soon, I need to fill up a stall
at an event, all with baby goodies.
It is so very exciting and I hope to get everything done in time.

Today I finished these cute pink cushions, they will be used
with the previous bed cover I made.

This set will be used in the room where the new mother
receives the well wishers of her new baby girl.

It includes a baby pillow, to carry the baby on.

I made a few table covers and this is one of them.

I also added a few tissue box covers
and tray liners to complete the set.

This is a diaper holder, and when the baby doesn't
need them anymore this hanger will look great in the bathroom
with towels.

Incense Containers

I've covered a few containers that the ladies
here, keep sandal wood or other scented wood chips in.
This is used specifically on special occasions
like weddings or generally just to perfume the house.

I like the smell of sandalwood or agar wood burning,
especially after frying fish.
It instantly takes away any unwanted odor.

No machine made lace can compare
to hand made lace!
I love this lace collar, it has very delicate raised little flowers.

I hope you have a wonderful and
creative weekend.

Olive Green Moses Basket

What colour can we use for a baby boy's
Moses basket?
How about olive green for a change, I had this
soft green lace for a while and it looks so pretty
with all the green flowers and off white.

The canopy doesn't belong to this stand,
I just used it for the pictures.

I also made a diaper and wet-wipes holder
and found these small velvet flowers.

I haven't made this before, I added some lace and trim
to a padded plastic changing mat, to match the set.

I hope you have a wonderful week.

Baby Pillows

These days I'm trying to finish all my orders
so I can make lots of frilly cushions and other yummy things
for my friend's new store.

Today I made a few baby pillows with lots of lace,
perfect to show off your new bundle of joy.

I found this pure cotton material with
Fleur de Lis patter, I love it!

How about this material,
perfect for my next Moses basket in Marie Antoinette style...

I hope you have a lovely week.

Spring Time Baby Bed

I  just love this spring floral baby bed,
even the canopy is made of fresh cotton material.

If I'm left alone to choose materials for my baby beds,
then I really have fun being creative with colours.

Cotton lace also looks sweet!
During my last trip to the souq, I found plenty
of cotton lace.

I found these curtains at Pottery Barn
and just added some lace.

The canopy stand is separate and can be placed
at the end or in the middle of the bed.

I found the vintage baby bed in Holland and had
it shipped to me here in Dubai.
It's made of bamboo and is super light
but very strong.

Sorry! This bed is already occupied...

See you there,
